A Local Equipment Rental Company Babylon Contractors Actually Rely On
Anyone can list machines on a website. What matters is whether the compactor starts on a cold Monday morning and whether the guy on the phone actually knows the difference between a track loader and a skid steer. We’re a local heavy equipment rental company, not a national call center, so the person who quotes your job is usually the same person who checks the machine before it goes out on the truck.
Every piece of equipment we send out gets inspected and serviced between rentals. If something needs attention, it stays in the yard until it’s right, not on your jobsite. That’s the standard we’d want if we were the ones hiring the machine.
We carry a focused fleet built around what Long Island jobsites actually need: earthmoving, compaction, aerial access and concrete support equipment. Below is what our Babylon customers rent most often.
Mini Excavator Rental
For trenching, footings or tight-access excavation, our Bobcat E35 mini excavator is compact enough to fit through a standard gate yet powerful enough to move real dirt. It’s a solid choice for utility work, small demolition and site prep where a full-size excavator would simply be overkill.
Mini Skid Steer and Track Loader Rental
Our Bobcat MT100 mini track loader handles material movement, grading and landscaping work in yards and job sites where a standard-size skid steer won’t clear the fence line. It’s become the go-to rental for landscapers and homeowners tackling backyard regrades.
Boom Lift and Scissor Lift Rental
Working at height calls for the right access equipment, not a ladder and a hope. A JLG 450AJ articulating boom lift reaches up and over obstacles for tree work, siding and signage installs, while a Skyjack SJ3219 electric scissor lift is our most requested option for interior work and vertical reach where a boom isn’t necessary.
Air Compressor Rental
Running pneumatic breakers, nail guns or sandblasting equipment requires steady air volume. Our towable Atlas Copco 185 CFM diesel air compressor is sized for full jobsite crews, not just a single tool.
Concrete Buggy Rental
Getting wet concrete from the truck to the pour site without a wheelbarrow relay is worth the rental fee alone. Our Multiquip WBH power buggy moves mix quickly across yards, over rough grade and up modest inclines.
Plate Compactor Rental
Loose soil, gravel base or asphalt patches all need proper compaction before you build on top of them. A Wacker Neuson vibratory plate compactor is standard equipment on our trucks for driveway, walkway and trench backfill jobs.
Equipment Delivery Straight to Your Babylon Jobsite
Most of our customers never see our yard. We deliver equipment directly to the address you’re working from, whether that’s a residential lot in West Babylon or a commercial site off Deer Park Avenue. Delivery timing is scheduled around your project start and we walk you through basic operation before we leave, so there’s no guessing once the truck pulls away.
If your project timeline shifts, tell us early. Extending a rental or swapping equipment is far easier to arrange before the truck leaves the yard than after.
Equipment Rental Rates and Quotes
Rental cost depends on the machine, the length of time you need it and delivery distance, so we won’t pretend there’s one flat rate that fits every job. What we can tell you is that daily, weekly and monthly rates all bring the per-day cost down the longer you commit and we’ll always tell you which option makes sense for your actual timeline instead of upselling a longer rental than you need.
Ask us for a written quote before you book. It takes a few minutes on the phone and means no surprise line items when the invoice arrives.
Check Availability and Reserve Your Equipment
Popular machines like the Bobcat E35 and the MT100 track loader book up fast during peak construction season, so if you have a start date in mind, it’s worth reserving a week or two ahead. For smaller or last-minute jobs, give us a call. We’ll always tell you honestly if something isn’t available rather than promise a delivery date we can’t hit.

Who We Work With in Babylon
Our customers range from licensed general contractors and excavation crews to landscapers, property managers and homeowners tackling a one-time project. Concrete contractors rent our buggies and compactors together for pour day. Utility contractors lean on the mini excavator for trenching. Property managers and municipal crews call us for aerial lifts when facility maintenance calls for working above ground level. Whatever your trade, we’ll match the equipment to the actual job, not just whatever’s sitting in the yard that week.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I get equipment rental delivered in Babylon, NY?
Same-day or next-day delivery is often possible depending on equipment availability and your location within Babylon. For guaranteed timing, we recommend booking at least a few days ahead, especially during busy spring and summer months.
Do I need a license or certification to rent equipment?
Most of our compact equipment, including mini excavators and skid steers, doesn’t require a special license to operate on private property, though local permits may apply depending on your project. Aerial lift operation may require basic safety training, which we can walk you through before delivery.
What's the difference between daily, weekly and monthly rental rates?
Daily rates suit one-off tasks, weekly rates fit most residential and small commercial projects, and monthly rates are built for longer jobs where a machine stays on site for weeks at a time. Longer terms lower your effective daily cost, so tell us your real timeline and we’ll recommend the option that saves you money.
Can I get an equipment rental quote before committing?
Yes. We provide a clear, written quote based on the equipment, rental length, and delivery address before you book anything. There’s no obligation and no pressure to decide on the spot.
What areas around Babylon do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout the Town of Babylon and surrounding Suffolk County communities and we also serve much of Long Island and the greater NYC area from our Melville location. If you’re unsure whether your address is in range, just ask.
