Equipment Rentals in Mineola, NY

Mineola sits in the middle of Nassau County's busiest construction corridor, and that means job sites here rarely have room to spare. Driveways, backyards, and commercial lots around Old Country Road and Willis Avenue tend to be tight, which is exactly why local contractors turn to J.E.H Equipment Rentals for compact, commercial-grade machines that get in, get the job done, and get out without tearing up the property.

From mini skid steer rentals to aerial lifts and air compressors, our fleet is built for contractors, landscapers, and property managers working across Mineola and the rest of Nassau County.

Local Expertise

Why Mineola Contractors Rent From J.E.H

Mineola’s mix of commercial storefronts, residential streets, and light industrial parcels means no two job sites look the same. One week it’s a drainage repair behind a strip mall on Jericho Turnpike, the next it’s a backyard grading job on a quarter-acre lot. Our equipment is sized and specced for that variety, not just for wide-open commercial sites.

We work out of Melville, NY and serve Nassau County directly, so Mineola requests get handled by people who already know the area’s permit rules, delivery access points, and typical lot sizes. That local familiarity saves you the back-and-forth of explaining your site before we can even quote it.

Melville-Based, Nassau-Focused

Commercial-Grade Fleet

Bobcat, JLG, Skyjack, Atlas Copco, and Wacker Neuson equipment built for real jobsite conditions.

Sized for Tight Sites

Compact machines specced for fenced yards, narrow gates, and mixed-use lots.

The Fleet

Equipment Available for Mineola Job Sites

Every machine below is available for delivery to Mineola and the surrounding towns. Pick the category that matches your job, or call and we’ll help you land on the right size.

Compact Equipment

Mini Skid Steer & Track Loader Rentals

For landscaping, drainage work, and grading on lots where a full-size skid steer won’t fit through the gate, the Bobcat MT100 is our most requested machine in this category. It runs attachments for trenching, material handling, and site prep while staying narrow enough for fenced backyards and townhouse developments common around Mineola.

Excavation

Mini Excavator Rentals

The Bobcat E35 handles foundation digging, utility trenching, and demolition prep on residential and light commercial sites without the footprint or transport cost of a full-size excavator. A common pick for the smaller lots typical of Nassau County neighborhoods.

Aerial Access

Boom Lift & Scissor Lift Rentals

For work above ground level, we rent the JLG 450AJ articulating boom lift and the Skyjack SJ3219 scissor lift. The boom lift suits exterior work with obstacles like trees or overhangs, while the scissor lift fits flat, indoor, or paved surfaces such as warehouse maintenance or retail buildouts.

Power & Air

Air Compressor Rentals

Our Atlas Copco 185 CFM towable air compressor powers pneumatic tools for demolition, concrete breaking, and general jobsite air needs. See the full specs in our 185 CFM air compressor guide.

Concrete & Compaction

Concrete Buggy & Plate Compactor Rentals

The Multiquip WBH concrete buggy moves poured concrete across sites where a mixer truck can’t reach directly, which comes up often on Mineola’s tighter driveways and backyard slabs. Pair it with a Wacker Neuson plate compactor for base compaction before pour, and you’ve got the two most requested pieces for residential concrete work in this area.

BOOKING

Rental Terms: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly

Most Mineola rentals run daily or weekly, though longer commercial projects often move to monthly terms for better value. Rates depend on the machine, attachments needed, and how long the job realistically takes, so we’d rather quote your actual scope than post a flat number that doesn’t match your site.

Our rental rates guide walks through how pricing works across our fleet, and our weekly rental page covers what to expect for multi-day projects specifically.

Daily Rentals

Daily rentals are available on most of the fleet for shorter project timelines.

Weekly Rentals

A practical option when the machine needs to stay on site across multiple workdays.

Monthly Rentals

Built for longer commercial schedules where equipment is needed for an extended period.

FAQ

What Mineola Customers Ask Us Most

Do you deliver equipment directly to Mineola?

Yes. We deliver to Mineola and the surrounding Nassau County area from our Melville location. Delivery windows depend on the day’s schedule, so it’s best to call ahead if your start date is fixed.

What size excavator fits a typical Mineola backyard?

For most residential lots and fenced yards in this area, the Bobcat E35 mini excavator is the right fit. It clears standard gate widths and still has enough digging depth for foundation and utility work.

Can I rent equipment for just one day?

Daily rentals are available on most of our fleet. If your job might run longer than planned, let us know upfront so we can set expectations on weekly pricing before you commit.

Do you supply attachments with the equipment?

Yes, common attachments for trenching, grading, and material handling are available with our skid steers and excavators. Mention your task when requesting a quote and we’ll recommend the right setup.

Is a permit required for equipment on residential Mineola streets?

That depends on where the equipment sits during delivery and use. If it needs to occupy a street or sidewalk, check with the Village of Mineola or Town of North Hempstead first. We’re happy to help you plan delivery around that if needed.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently rented a Bobcat E35 mini excavator from this company and had a great experience. The whole rental process was easy, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish.

The excavator was practically brand new, very clean, and worked perfectly with no issues at all. I used it for a project in my backyard and some excavation work in East Meadow, Long Island, and it handled everything I needed it to do.

It’s hard to find equipment that’s this well-maintained and reliable. The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was ready to go when I needed it.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality construction equipment rentals, and I’ll be renting from them again in the future. Thanks for the great service! 👍
